WINDSOR, Colo. — After an historic two-year run that saw him break both club and league records, Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC defender Arthur Rogers has signed with USL Championship side FC Tulsa for the 2024 season.
In his two seasons with Hailstorm, Rogers set a USL League One record with 20 assists. He created 80 and 88 chances in his two seasons, the top two marks in league history.
“I’m extremely excited for this opportunity,” Rogers said. “I intend to go there and show the same dedication and work ethic that allowed me to see success in Northern Colorado.”
Rogers was named to the USL League One All-League First Team and was a finalist for Player of the Year in both of his seasons with Hailstorm. He helped lead the club to its first playoff appearance in 2023, scoring an olimpico goal in Hailstorm’s 4-1 playoff win over Forward Madison FC.
He now gets a chance to return to the USL Championship, where he previously played with Hartford Athletic from 2020-21.
“I have so much to owe to Northern Colorado,” Rogers said. “They took me in during a tough time of my career and gave me the opportunity to show my qualities as a player and as a person. Thank you to all of my coaches, the front office, owners Jeff and Casey, my teammates, and the fans. I will always look back with fond memories and hope to see continued success come to the Hailstorm.”
